As competition in real estate intensifies, user experience is emerging as the true differentiator between projects that simply exist and those that become truly beloved.

In this episode of dot dot dot, Chief Curator and Co-founder Molly Casey speaks with Alison Nestel-Patt, Director of Development & Experience at Formativ, to explore what it really means to design for feeling in the built environment. Alison shares how her team considers the user experience in the earliest stages of development, ensuring every decision ladders back to how people will actually live, work, and connect within a space.  From activating the public realm at Denver’s Denargo Market to rethinking multifamily as a hospitality-driven experience, Alison makes the case that emotional resonance (not just trending amenities) is what will define the next generation of projects.
