After graduating from Georgia Tech in 2006 with a degree in Computational Media, Alex founded WonderRoot, a community-focused arts nonprofit. He quickly became captivated by the city’s vibrant creative ecosystem and its potential to drive positive social change. Recognizing that his expertise in scalable tech solutions, combined with his understanding of the art world, uniquely positioned him to meet the growing needs at the intersection of technology and the arts, Alex founded ArtCloud in 2012. Since then, the platform has grown rapidly while staying true to its core values of constant innovation, responsive design, and a culture that prioritizes relationships and communication.

Outside of his leadership at ArtCloud, Alex is an advocate for art and technology education, a mentor to emerging tech entrepreneurs, and a frequent speaker at industry conferences and podcasts. He has served on the boards of ArtsATL and the Atlanta Contemporary, and has been an active board member of Shiplify, a transportation and logistics platform, since 2020. Alex lives, works — and frequently bikes — in his native Atlanta.
