With a background in landscape architecture for luxury resort projects, Ashley Stiles has long believed in elevating the customer experience through “experiential development.” So much so that she started her own real estate firm, Tribe Development, which focuses on functional, design-forward projects that intentionally cultivate community. As a longtime commercial real estate leader and proud member of Chickasaw Nation, Ashley shares how these identities intersect and enable her to be a better problem solver and community builder. In this episode, she emphasizes the importance of community involvement in the development of public spaces, particularly in the context of her work as a development consultant for CSU Spur – where she supports placemaking and public engagement – and as an artist featured in the art program at Steamboat Springs’ Sleeping Giant School.
