Expanding West: NINE dot ARTS has a new Seattle office

Today, NINE dot ARTS, a nationally recognized and award-winning art consulting and curating firm, announced its company will be expanding.

“Our presence in the western region enables us to be a powerful resource for the burgeoning opportunities within the hospitality, corporate and mixed-use industries,” said Martha Weidmann, CEO and co-founder of NINE dot ARTS. “Seattle has been a pioneer of the arts scene — as one of the first cities in the country to enact a public arts ordinance in 1973 — and NINE dot ARTS is thrilled to continue to invigorate the area by transforming places for all of Seattle’s people to enjoy. Unique attractions like the Space Needle put Seattle on the international and architectural map, and our clients are continuing the tradition of developing transformative projects and destinations that solidify Seattle as a beacon of design integrity. With popular mediums like glassblowing and digital art, as well as a heavy focus on public art, the Seattle area is primed and meant to activate space and place.”

As part of this expansion, NINE dot ARTS plans to use Seattle as a hub to prepare and execute its list of upcoming and exciting West Coast ventures, including projects with Lake Union Partners, MainStreet Property Group and LMC, as well as projects in the Kirkland area. The floating workplace includes an open floorplan on the main level, meeting space intended for collaboration and an outdoor rooftop space perfect for client meetings and presentations.

“We are planting roots in the Seattle community because of their long history with the arts — from a thriving music scene to unique artistic mediums like glassblowing and sculpting — we want to continue to support the trajectory this vibrant city has started,” said Molly Casey, Chief Curator and co-founder of NINE dot ARTS. “Our goal is to elevate Seattle’s reputation as a leading and innovative destination within the arts community. One of our priorities is to develop and expand opportunities for the creative economy, making it easy for artists and the local community to connect. By generating and supporting initiatives that facilitate collaboration between artists and communities, NINE dot ARTS will remain committed to the accessibility of equitable experiences for artists within the Seattle area and beyond.”

With a loyal team of employees and various upcoming projects within a multitude of industries, the noteworthy and award-winning firm is positioned to continue its successful growth in every region of the U.S., as well as international markets. Further, the company has plans to expand into the Southeast in 2022. Seattle-based positions are currently open.
