The Story
The artwork at Paseo South Gulch intends to distinguish the micro-district as a premier live-work-play community neighborhood. As visitors enter the urban area, they’ll discover notable art moments in the form of architecturally integrated installations that support pedestrian traffic flow and spark conversation. Our team curated these exterior public art pieces by Sarah Heitmeyer and James Worsham to help create synergies across Paseo South Gulch’s world-class residences, shopping, dining, hotel, and office spaces. Sarah is a ceramic artist whose work reflects her fascination with finding patterns in nature, architecture, and ornamental design. Her decorative wall tiles create the perfect entry moment for tenants and visitors to the nearby Prima Apartments. Steps away, James’ installation creates a sense of movement that guides people through the area, featuring individual brass airplanes intended to patina over time. As the art program grows, these exterior installations will help the micro-district stand out, creating an everlasting buzz that keeps people coming back.
