The Story
A far-from-typical airport hotel, H Hotel offers an elevated Los Angeles experience for LAX travelers. Seeking thoughtful and intriguing additions to their sophisticated amenities, the H Hotel art collection needed to continue to raise the bar. We curated the collection around the theme of aviation, reflecting the human fascination with flight. The artworks explore air travel from a modern angle while honoring the industry’s past with a collection of historical objects from the golden age of aviation. The collection features local Los Angeles-based artists as well as nationally renowned artists, highlighting pieces which interpret the singular theme in a myriad ways. The collection allows visitors to lose themselves in the idea of air travel, appreciating the many aspects of air flight: science, jobs, fashion, and exploration. The seven site specific flight themed artworks work together to create a sense of place and escape for H Hotel’s sophisticated guests.
