The Story

An independent hotel in the Cherry Creek shopping district outside of Downtown Denver, Halcyon blurs the line between hotel and home. The first hotel of its kind in Cherry Creek North, comfort, luxury, and carefree enjoyment are at the heart of Halcyon’s mission, imbuing a timeless, residential feel. Working with Sage Hospitality and BMC Investments, we developed an art program that enlivens the environment with the relaxed hospitality of a well-traveled friend. With over twenty independent galleries and art-focused business in the surrounding neighborhood, Halcyon’s art collection positions the hotel as an integral part of the progressive, contemporary, Colorado art community.

Our ability to create authentic experiences for our guests is a key differentiator against our competition, and the art program that NINE dot ARTS created is a prime example. Much of the art comes from current Boston University (BU) students and alumni, which really connects with our guests. As a result, we continue to grow our share of business from BU.”

- Adam Sperling, General Manager, Hotel Commonwealth
