The Story

Situated in the heart of the city and adjacent to the popular Seattle Center, Siteline Apartments is a beacon for creativity that captures the attention of locals and visitors alike. In addition to three eye-catching exterior artworks, the property’s interior collection spans eight floors and features nearly 70 pieces, each telling the story of what makes Seattle unique, from its popular mountain and water activities to its rich history in music and sports.

Outside the building, a vibrant mural by local artist Alexandra Nason helps activate the alleyway and create an extension of the nearby Seattle Center. The mural also supports wayfinding and public safety,  integrated with lighting, signage, and Siteline’s brand colors to indicate entrance to the building’s parking garage. In addition to unique motifs nodding to the city’s history, Alex painted small windows on the mural’s many buildings, encouraging people to slow down, “peek inside,” and get a glimpse into the daily lives of Seattlites.

Other exterior installations include Ben Zamora’s light-based helix sculpture that appears to wind up the corner of the apartments, creating an iconic landmark moment that immediately distinguishes the property. Just around the corner, Ben’s wall sculpture, “Convergence,” intends to reflect Seattle’s changing landscape, consisting of colored panels on opposite planes that unite and multiply to create a new shape.

Inside the apartments, photography and fine art prints depict famous Seattle landmarks, musicians, athletes, and other motifs that play a role in the city’s history. Artist Katie Todaro further highlights these motifs with her digital collage and wall illustration outside the first floor elevator, celebrating the city’s influential live music scene.

Altogether, the art collection at Siteline brings pride to residents, creating a captivating backdrop that honors all that is Seattle.
