The Art of Dairy Block

Dairy Block is a historic block located in the LoDo neighborhood that offers a thoughtful placemaking design.  Denver’s first pedestrian alley serves as the soul and connector of Dairy Block, and is a constantly evolving destination, hosting an array of events, artists, entertainment, and pop-up experiences.

One of the most unique Dairy Block amenities is its interactive 750+ pieces of art that greets you at every turn, created by more than 31 local and front-range artists, including 10 major public art pieces as well as interactive art installations, with value exceeding $1 Million. An impactful art collection that came together thanks to our partnership with NINE dot ARTS.

Come Out, Come Out Rhino, Wherever You…

Curated by national art consulting firm NINE dot ARTS for the Catbird Hotel in Denver, Colorado, “Come Out, Come Out Rhino, Wherever You Are” features an endangered rhinoceros peeking out of a city manhole, nodding to humankind’s harmful effects on endangered animals. The 992-lb bronze sculptural was created by internationally renowned artists Gillie and Marc as part of the broader #LoveTheLast project, a social movement driven by public art to raise awareness, funds, and support for endangered species around the world.
