Perry Lane Hotel

5 Best Hotels in Savannah – #2

Savannah, GA | Sage Hospitality Group

Inspired by the charm of old Savannah, our team created a fictional character – a Southern grand dame named Adelaide Harcourt – to guide Perry Lane’s art experience. The collection features over 1,200 artworks, including 178 original artworks and 123 commissions, each influenced by Harcourt’s imaginary family heirlooms and travel mementos to create the illusion of staying in someone’s family home. Boasting 3,600 unique styling objects and antiques and nearly 100 artists with ties to Savannah, the collection works in tandem with the hotel’s lavish design and architecture to tell a compelling brand story that enriches the guest experience.

The Hutton Hotel

5 Best Hotels in Nashville – #5

Nashville, TN | Tidal Real Estate

In a city rich with music, costumes, and yes, neon, one thing remains true – Song is King. Such was the sentiment for Hutton Hotel’s art collection, which tells a compelling story about Nashville’s legacy as the music city – from its historic roots in country music to the innovative sounds of today. The collection varies in concept, medium, and diversity of artists represented, much like the current medley of the music industry. Featuring a catchy neon sign, a “party shoes” salon wall, two dueling pianos behind the reception desk, and a vibrant stairway mural that beckons visitors to the property’s music venue, the collection positions Hutton Hotel as a sought-after destination for guests and visitors alike.

The Blackstone Hotel

10 Best Chicago Hotels – #10

Chicago, IL | Sage Hospitality Group

With deep cultural roots as a jazz lounge and Al Capone’s favorite place for a haircut, The Blackstone’s 465-piece art collection was curated to honor its rich history and revive the property as an iconic destination for Chicago’s Cultural Mile. Leveraging several Chicago artists and galleries to interpret this history through a modern lens, the collection uses bright colors and a cheeky sense of humor to defy conventional hospitality art and create an engaging, sophisticated atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

The Guild Hotel

Modeled from – and for – a chic lifestyle, the artwork echoes the authentic intrigue, sexiness, and suave of downtown San Diego.

Hotel Commonwealth

10 Best Hotels in Boston – #10

Boston, MA | Sage Hospitality Group

Formerly the site of the rock and roll venue The Rathskeller (nicknamed The Rat), Hotel Commonwealth is a cultural beacon with many influences. The art collection thus nods to the site’s edgy past life, the city’s colonial roots, New England’s nautical ties, nearby Fenway Park, and the hotel’s association with Boston University. Featuring fine art by BU students, alumni, and faculty as well as works by other Massachusetts artists, the 1,100-piece collection honors Boston’s past, present, and future while celebrating the city’s vibrant artistic community.

Designated the official hotel of the Colorado Rockies, The Rally features an extensive collection of historic bats, bases, and pennants from the inception of the MLB team. The displayed baseball bats are signed by all players at the end of the season, going back to the first team roster in 1993. NINE dot ARTS partnered with the Colorado Rockies’ archivist to showcase these bats and bases throughout the hotel’s public spaces.

Clayton Members Club and Hotel

5 Best Hotels in Denver – #2

Denver, CO  | BMC Investments, Aparium Hotel Group

A beacon of opportunity, equity, and inclusion in Denver, the Clayton Members Club & Hotel features an expansive collection of more than 230 artworks made primarily by local artists. Spanning the property’s 63 guest rooms and social club spaces, artworks create a welcoming, hyperlocal vibe that uplifts Denver’s creative, cultural, and business communities

To bring the art program to life, our team facilitated a collaboration with RedLine Contemporary Art Center, a nonprofit that provides educational programming and an artwork loan program. Through this partnership, emerging and underrepresented RedLine artists could display and sell their work at the hotel, and selected artists were invited to join the social club by contributing to programming and events in lieu of membership fees.

We also helped organize a 1% surcharge for every purchase in the building, allocating revenue to local arts and cultural organizations through the hotel’s charitable entity, the Clayton Contributes Fund.

The Oxford Hotel

5 Best Hotels in Denver – #3

Denver, CO | Sage Hospitality Group

Known as Denver’s most historic hotel, The Oxford boasts a collection of vintage and contemporary artwork that creates an eclectic interpretation of the Victorian and Deco times of the hotel’s original opening. Our team helped appropriate the hotel’s existing collection by merging vintage maps, architectural blueprints, historic stained glass windows with contemporary western paintings, custom fireplace installations, commissioned vinyls, and more. This mix of historic charm and modern luxury hearkens to the hotel’s past while celebrating its future. Altogether, the artwork creates a timeless elegance that uniquely distinguishes the guest experience.
